until they put someone on the moon, why should we? people say they're doing this or doing that, but the proof is in the pudding. return all chinanauts home safely after a moon mission, then i think you are right, and we should take them more seriously.

they've proved they are slightly better at launching rockets and stealing IP than we thought they were. but where would they be without it?
