Got my OR15 yesterday, sounds like Rock'n'Roll. :dude:

Post random thoughts and rambling here, just to save hijacking everyone else's threads. :D

Here's a pic to get things rolling. :thumb:

Wish I had one! I've only got a lowly Rocker 30, but that one has me intrigued!

Damn that is a sweet rig. Some beautiful LPs there. Is that a 4x12 there or a 2x12?

That is a sweet setup!! I almost did the same thing with the 2x12, but it was a Marshall 2061 off CL. Fortunately, it was sold, so I opted for a Marshall 1965A 4x10". The OR15H sounds badfrickinass through 10"s. I won't be going back to 12"s anytime soon.

The OR15 is a great little amp. I play LOUD stoner rock in a band situation, and it's got plenty of juice to hang in there. I am not disappoint. Amazing Orange toanz for half the cost of it's bigger bros.

Cathode biased class AB...FTW!!1!

Cathode bias! Sweet. :thumb:

Time to start tube rolling then.

I love the tone, it's very uniquely thick and middy. :thumb:

Love my OR15, got it when they just came out.

OR15 powers the 4x12 and the Blackstar powers the 2x12 Open Back

Never mind the rear wall, still waiting for its second coat of paint ehe.

To me, the OR15 doesn't sound as sterile as the Jim Root, which is still a nice amp. The OR15 is voiced for hard rock, and it does a bang up job. Big, fat, thick, rich overdrive. It really does sound five times bigger than it is.

Of late, I've been enjoying all the tones you can produce simply by dialling back the guitar volume. For example, you set the gain to GnR territory, and you can dial back to a blissful "Sunshine of your Love" tone. Such a responsive little amp.

I'm running mine through a closed back 112 with a Celestion Creamback. Guitar is a 2012 GT with Skatterbrane Metalbranes (check youtube, will blow your mind.) The amp also loves my Hardwire SC3 overdrive. A sultry combination.

This will be my next amp. I made the horrendous mistake of selling my Rocker 30 a while back and I need to get that British crunch back in a low budget format. The OR15 should do nicely

This thread is reviving my OR15 Gas. Does anyone have any experience with running the OR through a 212 Closed back cab with Scumback M75 speakers?

Youtube vid of those PUPs was amazing - but did you know this about the creator?

Yeah, there are issues there. But Rod's been nothing but professional and accommodating with me. He has to answer for his actions. I have nothing to say about it. All I know is that he winds an AWESOME pickup.

And they sound SICK with my OR15 !!!! :slash:

I tried an OR15H through a Orange 1x12 cab last year and want one bad. I just have to quite buying vintage Fenders and sell a few of my Marshalls to justify buying it.

Congrats on a great amp and rig.

Enjoy.
