The case looks genuine and the guitar has a Nashville bridge with small bridge posts, you'll never see that on fakes.

Great stuff, I thought it was genuine but I'm not an expert so I could be caught out (have never owned a Gibson before).

The guitar smells awesome. Do fakes also smell awesome?

Good eye!

The seller himself even questions it's authenticity (it is a fake btw), but at least isn't asking for what a real Standard would go for. It seems that he has been grossly misinformed.

So far, that's one of the better ones I've seen. I think I even saw HS "wings"!

Luckily, there are MANY other things wrong with it that prove it isn't real.
