It's official. I am no longer in the band.
I have mixed emotions. On one hand, I'm very glad the boys have found a suitable, replacement guitar player and they can start the process of rebuilding and getting back out on stage! On the other hand, the reality of not being a part of it saddens me, greatly.
Right after the new year, I told them that my work and my personal life was getting too hectic. I felt that I had to bow out gracefully. My unpredictable business travel would not permit me to commit to a regular weekly rehearsal schedule and I had to make some enormous gyrations to play a couple of gigs. It wasn't fair to put them in a place where I could jeopardize the band.
So, I tended my "resignation". I jammed with them off & on, for a month or so, as they searched for a replacement guitar player.
Yesterday, they announced that a new lead guitar player is now officially in place.
So, I will be removing the following line from my signature, but I still support them and I will continue to post in the "Promote Your Band" thread about their upcoming events and links to their videos.

I've been in and out of bands before, but leaving this one really hit me hard. We weren't the best band, but were the best of bands, in every way. We loved playing together, we loved the same music and we were (and still are) truly friends.
Rock on, LifeWithout... Rock on!!!
