I thought, why not route out a round 1/32" (or so) deep cavity there, and inlay an ebony switch ring...thus making lemonade out of this little slice of lemon.

I was gonna suggest the same thing when I saw the accident.

I really love it. If I had to dislike one thing it would be the knob placement. Either use 4 knobs or place them as on the junior.

This is craftmanshiip. I'd love to see the MSRP on this too
