I was wrong. The headstock is stamped "MAN 089", so it's the 89th, if you want to check it out on his site.

Hey all, 1980 Tokai LS-80 Love Rock with the rare original hardcase in very good condition for sale here.

There are no breaks on the guitar, and the neck is straight with room to adjust the truss rod either way. There is a ding on the top corner of the headstock (pictured), as well as the usual slight separation of the headstock overlay edges, and some slight binding cracking/separation on the treble side around the first few frets and also in the cutaway area around the top (also pictured). There is general wear and worming in the finish on the neck and back commensurate with a 40+ year old guitar that’s clearly been played. Weighs 10.2 pounds.

Because the original bridge collapsed over time, I replaced it with a new ABR-1 style bridge, thumbwheels, stoptail posts and tailpiece (I used Faber parts for all of these and will include the originals with the sale). The top right screw in the neck pickup ring was missing so I just used an extra screw I had on hand as a replacement. The pickguard was missing when I originally bought the guitar.

$2000 shipped to you, via Paypal, Venmo, etc. Buyer pays fees.

This page seems to have gone very quiet for many months. Have people moved on to an alternative page?
It seems as though a lot of things have slowed down lately. Economy? ? WWIII? Who knows? Many things are *UBAR now. 81,000,000

Howdy ladies and gents. I’m looking to sell (or possibly trade) my ‘87(?) Burny Randy Rhoads LP. It’s in excellent condition with ordinary wear from easy usage. Frets are in great shape. Currently equipped with Seth Lovers and Jonesy switch and wiring kit; I have the original electronics and pickups that will be sold with the guitar. Would not sell it but a dream guitar (LP) came my way recently so one’s got to go. Only trade I’d be interested in is an Ernie Ball Music Man Axis Super Sport, otherwise cash only. I’m in the DFW area - the guitar is listed on the local Dallas Craigslist. Not sure if the rules of this site allow me to post a link to that or not, but it’s easily searched. I have it listed for $1700 as equipped. Thanks!
Still have this guitar, and still looking to sell or possibly trade in the D/FW (Texas) area. Original pickups are reinstalled, along with original wiring harness, so all back to original with the exception of new volume pots. With a like new hard case, looking to get $1400. Might entertain a (partial?) trade for a set neck P90 guitar. Thanks!

'70s/'80s MIJ guitars are no longer the value proposition they once were. The market has caught onto their quality and the asking prices for those instruments have gotten to a point where many would-be buyers are now priced out, and many would-be sellers are thinking twice about parting with increasingly valuable assets.

Some of the strats are still good deals but they seem to be a guitar that is less trendy currently. I've considered selling a few of my guitars simply because I am moving internationally and already have too much stuff to cart around. That being said, I wouldn't likely find anything to replace them.

Fair enough, but good deals are still out there to be had, for sure. I saw a Navigator on Reverb for < $1800 the other day. Great deal. I thought about buying it just because it was a good deal, but I didn't want to have another guitar sitting around just to flip it.

I recently got a great deal on an Epiphone LQ. And a Vesta Graham.

It's a combination of things - gear prices and inflation are up. Also many of the old-timers here have gone through so so so many guitars.

I've bought FIVE guitars from @wulfman alone over the years. I can only imagine how many guitars he's gone through.

OMG if i had the cash!!

The seller is offering no proof in the listing that the guitar is actually a 1980 LS-200. It looks suspiciously inaccurate. He has another high-end guitar listed where he is not providing anything to support his claims which is probably why there hasn't been any offers for them.

The knobs are wrong for sure. looks like rings got replaced as well. I would be very suspicious of LS200 since this could very well be a veneer and like said before no actual proof provided.
