Hi everybody,

my name is Gunnar, I'm new to this forum so please bear with me. I registered to this forum
as I was a LP user until recently but I found I cannot play my Tokai Les Paul copy due to
neck profile issues (or forearm issues if you look at it from the guitar's perspective).

I'd like to sell my Tokai Love Rock, MIJ in 2016, sunburst, mint condition.
Honestly I have no idea as to which PUs are in there, still the stock ones. I bought the guitar
in 2017 from a dealer in Germany, the serial number indicates a manufacturing date in 2016.

The condition is excellent, the only flaw is the two screws holding the stop piece: they aren't shiny any more. I took off the cream coloured pickguard but it surely is included in the offer as well as the headstock tool and the case. The guitar's never gigged, only played outdoors once during my wedding. The rest of her life she spent in my living room (or while travelling in some occasions in her case in my caravan).

As flawless as the guitar is, the case got some scratches and damages as I took the guitar a couple of times with me travelling.

I live in Germany, northeast of Hamburg. The guitar can be played and taken personally (cash is a must in this case) but I can also ship it. Shipping costs need to be determined beforehand but we'll figure that out.

I bought the guitar for roughly 1200€ back in 2017, so I'm asking about 800€ for it given the condition. I'm not picky when we're talking some bucks less but somewhere close to that point we should land.

If I forgot anything important please let me know so I can fix it. If it's the wrong forum/thread (I got a tip over in TGP to post here) please also tell me and move it to the correct place.

Thank you!
Cheers,
Gunnar

Side note: maybe I'm not done with "Les Pauls" yet...is it allowed to stay in this forum when playing...say...a Ltd ec-1000?:fingersx:

I'm sure everyone here would like you to hang around :) There's a lot of knowledge in here (not mine, usually, TBF) and that's built up by having people interested in guitars in general chipping in their experiences/comments/whatever (though the whatever can get out of hand, often amusingly). If the "only play genuine Les Pauls" bit was a requirement then the vintage section would be well short of punters (I digress and may get banned :/).

Hello and welcome :)

I don't know, I have continued to be able to sell guitars at a price that is good for me and the buyer. It has been taking a little longer, but good gear is good gear. And if it's an example of something that is a little uncommon or hard to find, I find no reason to sit on it, even if it's listed for months.

With that in mind, I have a few more to list soon, all of which I consider to be fairly special or uncommon. Hopefully, someone here or elsewhere will see what I see.

I'll start at the top, an aged 2013 Crews LED-1959. I'm sure we all have our preferences about what we look for in a top end Single Cut clone. For me, the Crews LED series has it all, top shelf materials (Honduras mahogany, hard maple and dark Brazilian rosewood), hand-built craftsmanship, fantastic electronics, outstanding playability and tone. I love them so much that I'm lucky enough to have 3 and it was very difficult to decide which to let go.

Asking $3,700 Shipped plus payment fees (if any)

There are more pics and info here - Crews LED-1959

Last (for now) but not least is a 2009 Edwards Jimmy Page w/ Super Circuit. Just an all around great guitar with a ton of flexibility. I haven't seen one of these come up for sale in a while.

Asking $1,300 shipped plus payment fees (if any)

Crews LED-1959 and Edwards JP still available. I'm really wavering on the Tokai JW.

Howdy ladies and gents. I’m looking to sell (or possibly trade) my ‘87(?) Burny Randy Rhoads LP. It’s in excellent condition with ordinary wear from easy usage. Frets are in great shape. Currently equipped with Seth Lovers and Jonesy switch and wiring kit; I have the original electronics and pickups that will be sold with the guitar. Would not sell it but a dream guitar (LP) came my way recently so one’s got to go. Only trade I’d be interested in is an Ernie Ball Music Man Axis Super Sport, otherwise cash only. I’m in the DFW area - the guitar is listed on the local Dallas Craigslist. Not sure if the rules of this site allow me to post a link to that or not, but it’s easily searched. I have it listed for $1700 as equipped. Thanks!

I'm offering up a set of Maxon PU-2 pickups from a 1980 Greco EGF850. I have them listed on Reverb ($425) and eBay ($450), different prices due to the fees they charge, and I'm offering them up here for $400 + shipping to a MLP member via PayPal.

The pickups are in great shape, perfect working condition, they have patina on the covers that would be expected for 40 + year old pickups and the height adjustment screws come with them. The bridge reads 8.29k and the neck reads 8.52k

PM me if interested.

Came to my senses on the Tokai JW, that one is not for sale any longer.

The Crews LED 1959 is still available. I'm open to offers.

WTB: MIJ Goldtop LP w/ P90's in the USA. Would love a Tokai, but might consider an Edwards or something else? Try me. Preferably under 9.5 lbs. Inbox me if you've got something that fits the bill. I know these are fairly common in Japan and I've bought a few guitar via proxy service, but thought I'd check in here with some Stateside members first before looking overseas.

This one really caught my eye. Love Korina for both looks and slightly mellower tone than mahogany. Is it made in Japan or the phillipines?. Also love p90's. Any feedback appreciated, and yes you're welcome to bid on it if you wish.

I "blacked out" my Edwards goldtop a while back and made a few different pickguards to try out on it. I listed the extras on 'Verb
