I also actually counted the Devisers yesterday and there are 9

One Seventy Seven Exrubato Custom (I think a one of a kind)
One Seventy Seven Albatross (one of a kind for a guitar show)
Two Bacchus SGs
One Bacchus singlecut special type with P90s and a wraptail
Four (yes 4) Bacchus singlecuts

And yes, I should probably put a hold on my checking account.
*high five*

I’m up to eight. Mostly Bacchus Classics and Crews but there is a Momose 335 in there as well. I thought I had nine but then remembered that one of the Crews came from Terada.

Congrats, that's a beauty of a strat! Fantastic condition and that grain!
Thanks! And, yes, that grain! Looks like a two piece body. I thought they were three pieces. Not concerned either way, but if so....nice work on the matching.

Are these supposed to have particularly nice pickups? I can't recall anything about the Strat-style pickups.

I'll have to let Harold or someone else answer the pickup question. I'm not much of a strat person, even though I started on one. I only have a History strat. And before that I had a G&L.

My first one though was a tri sunburst like that one and I've always had a thing for that color too.

Gotcha. Thanks.

I do love that finish. I have a thing for white ones, but there's something about that classic look.

I have a newer Fender Strat, which has a couple splittable humbuckers. (And it actually splits them into a nice single-coil tone.) So, I'll be comparing, and keeping whichever feels better in the hands. I'd miss the split option, but feel wins out.

Wulfman let me know the following regarding the SE-500. A virtual encyclopedia of guitar info...

"From the catalog, pickups are Maxon "PU-S5" Alnico and generally are a bit hotter in output for these earlier 1980 Grecos. I like them a lot. They are clear and articulate. Since they have fairly high resistance readings you can keep them a bit farther from the strings IMO.

The body on the guitar is indeed a 2 pieces which is not standard spec for these but I confirmed that the neck pocket has the "5" stamp that matches the SE-500 so all is original from the factory."

Worth noting, this is the kind of interaction I've had from Wulfman before. Can't say enough good things.

1982 Greco Super Real TL-800 $1000 + Shipping
I need at least one of these guitars to move by the end of the month so I'm putting this up as well.
This one is a mojo-machine, definitely not pristine. The Truss rod has been replaced, it was recently refretted with JUMBO Jescar wire, and the original neck-pickup was toast so it has a set of Mojotone Broadcaster Clone pickups, and I will include the original's in the sale. The original bridge-pickup is fine, and the original neck is just a bobbin now with no wire.

Absolutely fantastic guitar and plays great with the huge frets :)

If you play guitar, you can play bass :) If it's not your primary instrument you may not be the most inspired bass player, but you could stand in for a missing one in your average gigging band if you had to.
Not me! I never listen to bass lines, at home or onstage. Can't play it to save my life!
Maybe I don't have rhythm.....

Tokai LS-80 Brown Sunburst 1981
I bought this beauty a couple of days before I found out that I will be moving in July.
Pickup rings have been changed along with adding new Gotoh SD-90 nickel tuners. The original tuners were functional but have a really low gear ratio. Original tuners included.
It weighs 4.55 kg/10 lbs and has a medium profile neck.
It has some honest play wear, chips, dents and yellowing of the nitro. There are some lacquer cracks at the neck that look more like the start of checking. I've looked long and hard at the neck and can't see any sign of any wood cracks in the mahogany.

Asking 165,000 yen shipped by Paypal or Wise.
PICTURES HERE

If this were a pound lighter I would have bought it three times already. I need a plain top and a dark burst.

Thought I'd make a note I listed my ObG Locally. I realize I'm limiting exposure as it's For Local Pickup Only. No desire to ship a guitar at this time lol ...7 ozs. Central Kentucky 40517 zip. I put it on local fb marketplace @ 1,500 usd. For a forum member in good standing it would be 1350 usd.
Told gf i may consider shipping in a couple months

gut shot thread I did few weeks ago
Never bonded with its higher output pups. A beauty tho. Heavy, 9.5 - 10.5 lbs is my guess

I've got a Navigator N-LP380 for sale in the UK, looking to get £2200 plus shipping. Let me know if you need more pics. Weight is 4.5kg. Year 2000, SD pickups.
I would consider trades on this one, and I'm also selling a Navigator Strat, which I will post tomorrow

Here is a Navigator Strat for sale - year 2006, very light weight and SD Antiquity 2 pickups, nitro finish.
Looking for £1200 or would consider trades too. I'm after a bass, either a P or J style, and/or a Greco Mint collection with a mahogany top
