2008 Tokai LS90Q singlecut guitar:

I upgraded the Tokai Love Rock LS90Q substantially:

Faber locking bridge and tailpiece studs, actual Gotoh SD90 tuners, Seymour Duncan antiquities (box/stuff included) and CTS 500K pots with bumble bee PIO caps. Entirely new braided shield wiring harness, with switchcraft USA switch.

Includes a gorgeous brown crocodile hard shell case.

Incredible guitar! $950 shipped CONUS.

2004 Tokai Love Rock II

This guitar I had shipped from Italy. It's not a solid flame top, but a very good veneer (even though the catalog shows it as solid). It came in the original Tokai tweed hard shell case.

Again, replaced all of the electronics, which had been butchered pretty much by the last owner. CTS 500K pots, braided shield wire, switchcraft toggle, Mojotone '59 pickups, and gibson top hats.

Also has been faberized - with the bridge and tailpiece.

Also has gotoh mini locking tuners (the original schallers are included, used the same footprint, no new holes).

Another incredible guitar - I am losing lots of money on this - $950 shipped.

Either of these guitars are easily on par with GIbson production shop Les Pauls.

Up for sale is this beautiful and minty Crews KTR STD in a gorgeuos honey burst finish that changes color depending on the lighting. These were limited production and are getting harder to source in original condition. The ones that come up for sale are usually missing the K&T pickups as they go for insane prices. This guitar has all the hallmarks of a great LP. Huge 58 neck and weighs 4,0 kg. 1 piece back. All original with the sought after K&T NFS WEEP(BB/ZB) pickups. Plays and sounds amazing. The hype surrounding these pickups is justified. Low action and no issues. No fretwear, still has protective plastic film on the rear cavity covers. Just one small nick on the headstock as shown in the pics. OHSC is in working condition but has seen some action at one point as shown. One of the latches is non functional.

Hi guys,

So after posting about it on the “What’s the most expensive MIJ you own?” thread, I did some soul searching and realized that, as incredible as the Tokai LS-2PX I have is, the thinner ‘59/‘60 style neck is just too thin for me (I’m a beefy ‘58 kinda guy). So it’s with a heavy heart that I’m putting it up for sale (but without the Rolph ‘58 Pretenders- I’m keeping those bad boys!). Jacaranda fretboard, one piece Honduran neck and back respectively, all at a comfortable 9lbs. Sustain for days and days. Oh, and yes- it has fret-edge nibs, because folks seem to love those.
