so since I didn't want to trace down a bad pedal/patch cable, the gearslut in me went out and got a new pedalboard. THE multi effect pedalboard or pedalboards: the TC Electronic G System. This thing is hellawickedcool. Digital effects front and after the effects loop, and 4 loops to plug in your front end pedals if you choose, allowing you to rack your pedals and control them via the footswitch. WAY COOL and keeps cable runs to a minimum. But there's MORE! I picked up the amp gizmo, which converts midi info and via a custom cable replaces my Mesa footswitch. In effect this allows me to bring up a bank on the pedalboard, and the program instantly decides which onboard effects, which pedals and which channel of the amp to select. I made a quick video here. Enjoy

That's pretty badass, Joey! I like how you can control the amp's channels with it too, must make creating total patches (effects preamp or loop, amp channel, etc) a lot easier to manage. Congrats! :)

Interesting accent Joey. Very Nasal.
Save some of that money and buy yourself some new jeans.........those ones are frayed/worn out. You can probably score some new ones at Walmart for $10.

Did you opt for the Amp Gizmo because of the slight delay using the relays to switch?

It doesn't bother me enough to warrant buying one.

I wasn't even aware of that, but would like to keep my loops free for pedals.

Cool stuff, JD.

I got a kick each time you said, "Messa-Boggy" too.

I meant the SW Out jacks on the back. They have relays which can switch the various functions on non-midi amps, like ours. Relays being mechanical though, their's a very slight lag in the switching, but it doesn't bother me all that much or get in the way.

Sweet rig you have there! I think it would fry my brain trying to work out how to use everything being a don't read the manual kinda guy but once sorted it would be cool to have a setup as uncluttered as that.:thumb:
Nice floor tiles too!:D
