A friend of mine growing up in the 70s his dad had one of these. It wouldn't go over 30mph from what I remember. We use to putt around the neighbourhood In one.

That looks like less goofy than Elon’s truck. If he put that little thing out tomorrow, people would be screaming “please take my money!!!”

Elons Truck is a bust for me.

This little car was about the size of a SMART car.

It ran off normal car batteries. I don't remember how many.

I'm not sold on an EV truck yet. I have a 36 gallon tank in my F150 and get about 700 miles per tank on the highway. I need that range. I want to be able to go wherever, whenever I choose.

So far the Cadillac and the Hummer are the only 2 EV's I really like and could maybe imagine driving. The Hummer has crab walk mode lol.

i could rock an EV camaro, but it would have to be a "traditional" 2 door sports coupe.SUVs,CUVs,and 4 doors just wont cut it.

I thought I'd miss the Coyote motor/sound when I went from that to the twin turbo 3.5L Eco in my F150. Don't miss it at all.
Unless your penis fell off, I call BULLSHIT!! The Coyote rumble is one of the sweetest sounds there is. Next you'll say a Cessna 172 sounds better than a F-14 Tomcat taking off the deck of the Enterprise.

The only true Mustangs are first and fifth generation (Third generation? Ford Tempo. Fourth generation? May as well buy an Escort). And of course my early 2000s Exploder, which is an honorary Mustang owing to having the same 4.0L SOHC v6 as the stock Mk 5 that tends to fail at random due to bad engineering- the hallmark of a proper Ford engine.

the last good looking mustang was built in 1971.

I dig it, I have a 77 Vette with a 383 and most available suspension upgrades.. My 98 out of the box in stock for is sooo much better... Lets face it, the nostalgia for "muscle cars" is mainly wrong.. the 68 Mustang I had was a turd compared to a new one... body roll, traction issues, rust issues, fuel economy.. after 80k most old-school v8's were toast!!!!
My 3.5 ecoboost F150 drives the same as the day I bought it.. it has over 100K!!! Zero rust in NY and still looks beautiful!

The Mustang started it's comeback from the Mustang II era in '82.

I ordered one in '82.

i had two. a '92 dark green fastback stick 5.0 LX, and a '91? silver 5.0 LX automatic convertible.

the ragtop could barely get out of it's own way. and they were both "ugly" in a good way, at the time. neither design aged well imo.

I've always been a Ford fan boy.

Pickups and Mustangs have been my favorites.

Also a V-8 purist.

The '13 F-150 STX I drive now has the Coyote 5.0 V8.

i just spent some time in my brother's crew cab f150 with the coyote. he installed a new chip and a K&N. it sounds glorious. he's a full on "if it's not a v8, it's not a truck" guy. i get it, i was too.

but the torque on that eco boost at 470 is what gets my tummy rumblin'. i like neck snapping torque, and don't care what it comes out of. the extra mpg (1 extra mpg...) is meaningless given the performance numbers of both.

i've always been a big block v8 kinda guy (pre-electric days) and would be the one to stuff a 460 in anything i could fit it in. but it'd be a waste based on the eco boost torque figure. wouldn't gain enough to be worth the expense.

i get it though. it's what i call the mad max syndrome. has to be a v8 or gtfo. i get it. :cheers2:

I'm 62 yrs old. I don't drive like I did when I was younger. But if I need it this 5.0 has it.

Hell the '82 HO 5.0 only had 150 hp. This Coyote has 385 with 387 torque. That's more than enough for me.

:cheers2:
