Electrics are so quiet I predict a beep feature like a bulldozer will be added, for reverse and forward; as pedestrians are always being struck.the sound

That looks like less goofy than Elon’s truck. If he put that little thing out tomorrow, people would be screaming “please take my money!!!”A friend of mine growing up in the 70s his dad had one of these. It wouldn't go over 30mph from what I remember. We use to putt around the neighbourhood In one.

Elons Truck is a bust for me.That looks like less goofy than Elon’s truck. If he put that little thing out tomorrow, people would be screaming “please take my money!!!”
Unless your penis fell off, I call BULLSHIT!! The Coyote rumble is one of the sweetest sounds there is. Next you'll say a Cessna 172 sounds better than a F-14 Tomcat taking off the deck of the Enterprise.I thought I'd miss the Coyote motor/sound when I went from that to the twin turbo 3.5L Eco in my F150. Don't miss it at all.
i had two. a '92 dark green fastback stick 5.0 LX, and a '91? silver 5.0 LX automatic convertible. The Mustang started it's comeback from the Mustang II era in '82.
I ordered one in '82.

i just spent some time in my brother's crew cab f150 with the coyote. he installed a new chip and a K&N. it sounds glorious. he's a full on "if it's not a v8, it's not a truck" guy. i get it, i was too.I've always been a Ford fan boy.
Pickups and Mustangs have been my favorites.
Also a V-8 purist.
The '13 F-150 STX I drive now has the Coyote 5.0 V8.
I'm 62 yrs old. I don't drive like I did when I was younger. But if I need it this 5.0 has it.i just spent some time in my brother's crew cab f150 with the coyote. he installed a new chip and a K&N. it sounds glorious. he's a full on "if it's not a v8, it's not a truck" guy. i get it, i was too.
but the torque on that eco boost at 470 is what gets my tummy rumblin'. i like neck snapping torque, and don't care what it comes out of. the extra mpg (1 extra mpg...) is meaningless given the performance numbers of both.
i've always been a big block v8 kinda guy (pre-electric days) and would be the one to stuff a 460 in anything i could fit it in. but it'd be a waste based on the eco boost torque figure. wouldn't gain enough to be worth the expense.
i get it though. it's what i call the mad max syndrome. has to be a v8 or gtfo. i get it.![]()
