Easy book to digest. Well written, so very easy to
follow all the players.

Gives one a good persepctive as how we got to
where we are in the Middle East by telling the
stories of 5 behind the scenes players.

This is on my night table right now. A fascinating profile of the life of a Douglas-fir tree, from seed to maturity to death. Lots of science cause and effect....big bang to theory of evolution to pollution.

I have a pile of books right beside my bed, a pile of books right beside the john, a pile of books right beside the easy chair in the living room and a pile of books in the kitchen.

Just too many to mention.

The last book I bought yesterday is "Lettres à Anne", the entire correspondance between former french president François Mitterand and his mistress Anne Pingeot.

I've been reading this lately. It's about growing up in the South Boston projects. The book makes the Gallagher family on "Shameless" appear as a bunch of goodie two shoes baptists in comparison. Crazy stuff. And I knew many of these folks!
