Turns out that these bridges (with the String Saver saddles) were standard issue on Agile AL-3XXX series guitars (I have a bunch), along with Tusq nuts. These guitars are around $400!

My ancient 335s (one of which is a 12-string, both from the mid/late '60's) have nylon saddles (as supplied by Gibson). I've always thought they sounded better than the metal saddle versions.

Didn’t know you were a Tokai guy! Love mine. The real deal in my opinion.

I installed a resomax bridge about 18 months ago - it has already collapsed. Gauge 10 strings - I tend to set the tail piece height for a loose feel - but already this bridge has a dip in the middle. I liked the sound - but this is very, very poor indeed in terms of strength. I have only ever seen a bridge collapse once before - it was the original bridge on a 96 LP.

Not too happy to be honest
