The purge phase my of guitar bulimia continues.

Up for sale is a lovely 2011 Tokai HLS-VOS limited edition LP guitar in a very attractive shade of dark burst. As I understand it, the “H” signifies that this is one of their “historic”-inspired models, and it shows. For one, this beaut features Montreux relic parts (see sticker on headstock) and, for two, it has the historically-accurate 3.8 degree neck angle (versus the standard 4.5 degrees). For three, the spacing of the pickups on the body is historically accurate. In addition, the finish is vintage-appearing non-glossy.

Also included are Tokai’s “Fifty-Nine” pickups- look up the niceties people had to say about these bad boys in previous forums.

She’s in excellent condition, save for a minor nick in the headstock (see photo), and one slightly bent tuner that’s barely noticeable (see photos) and is a very cheap fix, should you decide to go that route.

Neck is a very comfortable ‘59 D-ish shape.

Comes with Gibby Custom Shop-esque OHSC, and Tokai COA.

This beauty made its rounds on MLP once before in 2017 and, once it was up for sale, it was gone within a day or two. Here’s a second chance to snag it.

Asking $1200 + shipping, PM me with any questions!

That's correct. Incidentally, for a second I thought alainguitars was referencing the line about bulimia, but then realized what he meant.

I just saw a guitar I listed on here less than a year ago on reverb listed for $800 more. Absurd.

It's now on the third person since me....and it's a nice OBG. Strange world.
