For sale is a bit of a rarity MIJ Les Paul.
1985 Grandy Les Paul Custom "50" model. Grandy was a brand manufactured by Tokai. I am not sure if it was OEM or a Tokai brand but we have seen a few on the forum including an SG and Les Paul.

Features:
- Fret-edge binding
- Dark fret board which is likely rosewood.
- Frets have very little wear. See pics for details.
- Weighs 3.94 kg
- Pickups are ceramic
- Has the “50” model sticker
- Not sure of the body wood. It may not be mahogany – I have seen a posting on another MIJ-related forum stating ash, Nato, agathis but no conclusion.
- Has three noticeable dents, one on back of neck, one on the front about 3 inches behind the bridge and one on the lower side.
- Finish is a bit cloudy under the poly on the headstock, notice the spot to the right of “Grandy”

Price:
- $400 Canadian$ (about $405 US/300 euro as of today) + actual Shipping via Payapal
- $375 Canadian$ + actual shipping if you can pay by Interac email transfer (probably only people with Canadian accounts)

A slideshow is here with lots of pictures:

To make room for a couple other future purchases I have a couple to throw out there if anyone is interested.

1978 Heerby Les Paul Standard (LS-500 I believe):

More pics on my Flickr page...

Specs:

- Pancake body (not a solid top)
- Pickups PAF style and the best thing about this guitar. I was tempted to take the pickups out and keep them but I decided to keep them stock. They are very airy and unique, not like any of the Greco, Tokai, or Burny pickups I have every heard. They could be Maxon's or Gotoh's.
- Gotoh tuners
- Nitro finish
- 60's type neck profile with volute.
- Frets are in great shape, no buzzing. Fretboard was refinished with Tru-Oil giving it a smooth fast finish.
- Comes with a hard shell cases that is too big for it but I will package it well and you can do whatever you want with it. If you don't want it, I will put the guitar in a padded gig bag.

Price: $550 plus actual shipping.

1978-80? Joodee Les Paul Standard JLP-55CS

(Note: The pots and knobs were off in this picture but they have been reinstalled. More pics are on my Flickr page if you click the photo)

Specs:

-Very nicely matched top
-Absolutely like new. This thing is flawless. Save for some very minor buckle rash type scratches on the back, she is in mint condition.
-Two piece back.
-Gotoh tuners.
-Not sure of the pickups in this one either but they are lively (the sound like Maxon to me).
-Original hang tag in Japanese in great condition.

Price: $700 plus actual shipping.

Shoot me a PM if you are interested.

I am selling my rare 1985 Grandy SG-60 that was made by Tokai. It is in very good condition and has the original pickups.
It still has the "60" Tokai sticker on the back of the headstock. Guitar has a 2 piece mahogany body, 1 piece mahogany long tenon neck, rosewood fretboard and is finished in Heritage Cherry.

I kept this SG over my Fujigen 1987 Greco SS-60 and a 1997 Gibson SG Standard. It might be the only one is the USA!!! I am only selling due to another instrument which I have interest. This one is sweet and built very solid.
With 25+ years this instrument is truly nearing vintage. The wood sounds dry, full and very open.

PM if you have questions or interest. I am asking $550.00 + actual shipping for this one. Thanks for looking. Josh.

Well thats sad to hear. When I was a mod on the Epi forum I never let any email from a member go unanswered.
