Yeah, by the book he's held that slot the longest, but does it count if he's played the part of someone else the whole time?

I stand corrected, Thayer played on two KISS albums.

The Spaceman thing doesn’t bother me as much as he’s the least interesting player they’ve had in that position. He seems like a nice reliable band member but without any definitive sound, that may be what Paul wants.

Yeah thats exactly what Paul wants- someone to play the role, both visually and audibly without so much as a peep of controversy.

Also, they have no say in band business. Thayer and Singer are the perfect puppets.

The last time... until the next time.
I remember the 1996 Farewell tour. 22 years ago.

If they did, it would make a sane person wonder, "I thought America had talent!"

If you have ever seen the show, it would definitely let you know that no, no we don't.....America has ZERO talent. This screechy (go to the 27 second mark), spastic doofus made the finals, and almost won a million dollars.....a MILLION bucks. On a positive note, KISS had to make a guest appearance, because there is no way in hell they would have made it on the show by auditioning.

This news excites me almost as much as when Oprah announced 18 months ahead (of the end of her show).

It would be much more meaningful if Kiss called a news crew, and shouted it from a tiny 3rd story roof.

Kiss' first farewell tour was in 2000. (fake?)
