these are becoming iconic.
They are short runs and the newer ones seem to increase in value pretty rapidly.
Better appointments than regualr Epi's, special colors, etc., all are staples of this line.

I thought I'd start a thread to see if we can figure out and keep track of all the different JB's that are to be found.

Something like Greenie, but maybe the amber top has been covered by the Lazarus.

Not all of his models rapidly increase in price.

Flying V had the biggest jump in price, followed by Black Beauty.

The rest of his Signatures are doing OK, with only marginal increase over their release price.

Greeny is one of the most famous guitars out there. Considering its status most likely Greeny will be released as a Gibson, probably a Custom Shop model. That's where serious money will be made, where each one brings in thousands of dollars in profit. Then after few years they may issue Greeny as an Epiphone model.

Out of all of those that I don't already have, I like the Goldtop from 2013.

What's the Black Beauty up to these days?

Would love another ES-355 reissue, honestly I don't know what's stopping Epiphone.. it would be a guaranteed hit like 1959.

Fwiw, I noticed GC had a used one (normal block inlays) listed as excellent condition for $1300 last week or so. Sold very quickly.

It's good that Epi has gone back to Gibson pickups in these for the Lazarus. The first three LP's were all BB's and then it switched to Epi pickups. Given the premium on these models, having Gibson BB's in there gives more justification imo.

Kirk Hammett has Gibson models in the pipeline. You can pretty much guarantee there will be a Greeny in there. However it's a good guess it will be very limited, Murphy Lab, very $$$$ piece. They did the guitar already in the original collectors series (#1). The 2013 Gary Moore Standard was kinda based on that but not really in that it didn't have binding nor the out of phase pickups. Same with the 2000 GM Standard also.

Hopefully we'll see a Greeny USA model along with an Epi.

Does anyone on the forum have the complete set? I've had 2 of the Pelham Blues, the V and Firebird. Sold them all.
Have a Lazarus on the way...have a feeling it will be a keeper.

I thought about collecting them all and at some point got very close, about 3-4 were missing. But then I am not really fond of models such as Firebird and Amos, so I gave up on the idea of having the entire collection.

If I had to guess the next guitar will be the new 61 Les Paul with the sideways tremolo. Then in 2023 a 57 Goldtop. An Epiphone sprayed with the current R7 shade of gold would sell like crazy. His original was a Goldtop so another Goldtop for the 10th anniversary is my guess.

i feel like this random photo is a hint.
