The downside to buying MIJ

It boils down to owning one Gibson reissue or 6 or more MIJ's with comparable specs and tone for the same price. I can't freakin decide which to play. I hate leaving guitars unplayed but I can't commit half my day to give them all a fair shake! LOL.

I don't own an MIJ, but some of them are real jewels, based on what I've read.

Everyone should have a historic, I have 2. I have multiple USA made guitars & wouldn't lose any of them. I also have multiple Asian guitars & wouldn't lose any of them, a couple are $150 guitars & all are great guitars. I kept my Orville & sold my Nashville Les Pauls because it was the better guitar by far & damn close to the historics. My 2c.

For me, one 3-pickup Les Paul covers a shit ton of territory.
Im coming up on 2 years with my 83 Greco, it seriously needs a fret job now, and it's going to get an ebony fretboard as well when it gets in the shop.
