I have seen some beautifully “ reliced “ or “ aged “ guitars ,but,man..... I would much rather get my guitars that way from years and years of me playing the ever-loving-shit out of them.....

Ship it across country a couple times each winter. The R6 I haver I bought from back east and it arrived with three checks in the lacquer. Two went away after a few hours but the biggest one stayed.

Mine have traveled for years..planes..buses..shit venues..big venues..freezing weather..hot humid..Chicago..NO..NY..Miami..LA AZ..many other places.
They look great..always took care with them. Old habit from working at a CMI store when I was 16..
On stage when I wasn't playing them..they were flat in case..

Same as my Hot Rods..and most of the things I care for.. Never wanted "patina"..
Everyone gets to do what they want..
