my very first post at MLP was in the vintage section.. I knew nothing about Les Pauls and I figured my 1973 Custom I had just picked up was vintage... boy was I wrong... the cork sniffers quickly shot me down and made it clear my 40 year old guitar was not vintage, not original spec and in there eyes a piece of junk.... I remember how bothered I was and how I started to question weather or not my stunning Les Paul was any good, I quickly came to my senses when I plugged her in and played... a real beauty she is..... cork sniffers will always be, just don't let them discourage you and what you personally like.
