I only drink "good" beer. I'd rather drink my own piss than Budweiser.

When it comes to guitars, I AM a corksniffer to some extent, but I also love my cheap guitars. What I can't stand - more than a cork sniffer - is the annoying asshole who talks about how terrible expensive guitars are and how much better their Epiphone is when they've never owned a Gibson or simply aren't in the financial position to buy one - they're just out to knock what they "can't have."

I play my Indonesian Squier Telecaster more than my R8 lately. But, when I pull out my '69 Gibson LP, I am remind of just how much better a vintage Gibson is than anything else I've ever had my hands on.

If you can't make a cheap guitar sound good, you have no business playing an expensive guitar. If you can't afford an expensive guitar, don't talk shit about the brand just because it is unattainable for you. If you can afford whatever it is you want to play, but choose to play a lower end guitar because it is what you like, then I have much respect for you. If you've got a pile of money and only play high end stuff, and talk down to those who can't afford "the good stuff," then you don't have much of my respect.

There are just so many variables...

I AM a "cork sniffer," but I love me some cheap guitars as well.

Hehe... yep! My Mexican Tele rocks the house! My other guitars are starting to get jealous. :laugh2:

I have a Dillion that gets a lot of play time, it's just a ringer as far as I'm concerned. I never played another one, so the rest of them could be crap, I just don't know. Like I said before, I prefer nice guitars, but I'll play damn near anything...if they don't move me after a couple weeks I find a way to get rid of 'em.

I am a cork sniffer. I will make fun of solid states and Peavey Classic 50s until I die.

I think I am abit of a corksniffer.
In the les paul/SG/ES335 world there are so many great copies so they don't bother me.
But with "Metal Guitars" ESP/IBANEZ/Jackson are my total favorites. I've found great Gibson copys but almost only crap copies of these guitars.

Dice, I agree with you on most of the topics we run across. I kind of figured you were a drinker of decent beer...but at the same time, I don't think you'd thumb your nose at someone else for drinkin' Budweiser either. :D

I sniff nitro and warm tubes. :laugh2:

:wtf:

I thought you were a lacquer man!!!
