Sooo, top is glued on, I've learned from my first builds that you don't need so much glue that it flows over the whole floor, so this time not so much and only a little bit squeeze-out.

I sorted the binding and yeah, fretwire arrived yesterday!

So now I need some advice from you guys. I've read a lot about this wire but I don't want to do a mistake now.
As Sully stated SS fretwire should have the same radius than the fretboard, I did mine with the common 12", and the fretwire came pre-bent in ~10".
I added a pic how it sits on the end of the fretboard, flush with the board on both sides and only a little bit higher in the middle (and it's really only a little bit). Does this work with SS or is it already 'too much' bent (maybe just a dumb question because it follows the fretboard radius pretty close?)? I don't want that it jumps out of the slot in the middle one day. Sorry, I guess I'm just too fussy with these things...
Thanks in advance for any input.

I used the binding stuff from Stewmac, for the thin strips the .020" and for the thicker outer strip the .060" version, both .25" high. Although I prefer acetone and binding goop to install a single binding layer, this time I used CA glue, and it worked really fine. My guitar is already 3 years old now - holy $*!*, time flies by! - and the binding is still ok, no cracks or discoloration due to the glue. So I hope I could help you with my answer :)

Another favorite from way back when! A masterclass in binding work, among several other categories.
Awesome build :applause:
