I was just throwing the bags over the handle bars, but I finally got tired of that and broke down and got the basket.

:laugh2:

The contents get shaken up a bit, but the boxes fit great!

(damn uploading pics sucks ... I've shrunk this pic to like 25% of its size and still too large) working on it....

... f'n finally!!!!

I don't always upload pics to MLP, but when I do most of the time I'm told they're too large or the wrong format

A buddy of mine bought a Salsa Horsethief last year. I didn't know much about Salsa bikes other than they claim to be an "adventure brand". A guy I used to ride with that does super long rides, like across the country, used to ride a Marrakesh and he claimed it was the best touring bike. But I test rode the Horsethief and it was a pretty damn sweet bike. Full suspension 29er.

Looks like this:

I just dope around on a shwinn trail bike, 29” with front shocks and the fat spring seat from the old beach cruiser I broke. It hangs in the rafters a lot, but I just got the kid a Marin Eldridge 1, and we got out a few times to do stupid shit on big dirt piles, and I put the receiver on the Fart Wagon so I can stick the bike rack on it and go, so we’ll definitely be looking around for trails in the area and I might end up needing a better bike. The front derailleur isn’t adjusted and is stuck in the middle. Haha. It’s what you get from a Target bike.

I've always wondered what's under the turtle neck. I'm guessing this:

i used to love riding bikes.
i rode long and hard for 45 years.
but then some of my friends went to heaven while riding their bikes.
i had a few close calls myself.
decided its just not safe around here anymore.
i miss it.

This is my number 1 bike. 2021 Giant Trance X 29. 150F/140R travel, 1x12 SRAM Eagle drivetrain, 4 piston calipers, 203mm rotors. Great for trails as well as downhill.
