I'm considering getting one of these to boost my Strat and Tele. I've never played either, just watched reviews on YouTube. The regular Spark is only $15 more than the Mini so it should be the way to go...from a financial standpoint...more bang for the buck. Or is thr Mini the way to go?

Thanks

I own the bigger brother, and I love it. But I think you should take into consideration how you plan to use it.

In front of the the overdrives, the Gain + EQ + Fat/Mid/Clean modes of the big Spark makes it a formidable and versatile booster. That´s where I use mine.

If used after the ODs, as a solo booster, I found the extended features to useless. For instance, I think the mid boost looks perhaps too pronounced for post-OD (YMMV here). So perhaps the mini would serve as well for this use case (although I would rather get an EQ for this... but that´s another story :naughty: ).

So, unless you´re trying to simply fill that tiny space in your pedalboard, I recommend going for the gold.

Cheers!

Was wondering if anybody uses one after a FuzzFace(FF>Spark) for solo boost?

Its better that the Micro amp due to the latching switch, I always think the tone is slightly sweeter than the MXR.

I use mine in conjunction with my bad monkey to add a little sparkle and my Hendrix fuzz face to bring it out in the mix a little.
