A 2006 Limited Edition Taylor 414CE-LTD with Taylor hard shell case!

Incredible sounding electronics, with convenient control placement. All original, and a very well cared for guitar.

The Taylor 414ce Rosewood B/S Limited acoustic-electric guitar sounds and plays like the special-edition guitar it is! You get a gorgeous solid Sitka spruce top with East Indian rosewood as its back and sides — ensuring excellent tone when unplugged.

Taylor 414ce Rosewood B/S Fall Limited Acoustic-electric Guitar at a Glance:

Choice tonewoods — Sitka spruce and East Indian rosewood
Grand Auditorium body style
Renowned Taylor Expression System electronics
Fantastic finish
Choice tonewoods — Sitka spruce and East Indian rosewood
When you pick up a Taylor, you can expect outstanding tone — and one of the leading reasons behind that signature Taylor voice is the use of high-quality tonewoods.

This particular Taylor, the 414ce Rosewood B/S Limited, is a prime example of just that. It features time-proven Sitka spruce as its top — which gives you projection — while its solid East Indian rosewood body gives the 414ce Rosewood B/S Limited incredible detail and depth. This limited beauty also sports a Tropical American mahogany neck, which is lined with a smooth-playing ebony fingerboard.

There is one blemish/place on the lower bout, about where it rests on your knee where there is clear coat missing about the size of a half dollar with some slight spider webbing around it...not a big deal as you never see it and it does not affect functionality.

I think these Rosewood/Sitka 400 series are the best lower model number guitars Taylor has put out recently. You used to have to buy an 800 series guitar to get these features, at double the price, or more. I also happen to like the satin finish too. I'm sure it sounds fantastic.

I ended up with a W-14ce-LTD made out of Walnut. If I hadn't found that I'd likely have bought one of these 414's. I played one and it was very very nice.

GLWTS.
