I'm torn between the DTs and the MTs. Anyone own either pair and care to share their thoughts?

I have the mt-102 in a es-355 n I love it. ..spins like a very good alnico 2....the only thing is its more snappy n dynamic. ..but it has all the alnico 2 characteristics, it's loose in the low end, chime in the highs, but full & warm. ...I don't have the dt...which I think is unoriented 5 & long 2....

Thanks! Both of these pickups sound really good in demos so I think it'll be a matter of which one to get first. You can hear the crisp snap of the MTs in the demo by Metro.

Anyone else? Surely more than one person has tired these, no?

I have a set of DT's in my R9. They are more a of a low wind set that are pretty closely matched. I've got the neck pup dialed in for a really nice hollow/woody tone, not woofy at all. Really vintage to my ears. Nice middle position tones, too. And the bridge has plenty of bite when you dig into it...

I had some DAd's in an R9.
As noted they are low wind paf's.
Good clarity.
