seems a few of these around on various old japanese guitars?
Here we have a 1980 D'Agostino Les Paul, singlecut style guitar. Made in Japan.

a Gibson T-Top that ohms at 8.5K in the neck.

Maybe gibson sold their old plastic molding dies when they moved to Shaws.

Gibson contracted Aria to build the Epiphone line of guitars somewhere around 1970. Gibson supplied them with many of the parts and hardware for these Epi's. I've owned and have seen these japanese made t-tops in early 70's aria guitars. usually the only thing Gibson about them is the bobbins and the rest of the parts are japan made.

yeah that was my guess.what do you make of these then?
Aria sold a P90 LP listed as having "laid back" pickups in their catalouge & they're identical to these stamps, bobbins, wire ect.
