The live in house guest is gone. I can't say how great this is. She had been living in the family room since before last thanksgiving. This was her second Christmas with us but now she has moved in with her mother. My daughter had brought her to our house from a bad situation before our daughter left for Colorado to study nursing while with the Army. We thought she would be with us for just a few weeks and that grew into two Christmas holidays with us. She didn't work or have a car and so living with us there was no way for her to get to work where we live. I finally told the wife that we must give her a time frame to move out by and we did. We had to keep reminding her to she where she was at with the move. So she moved back to Baltimore with her mother. My wife is driving her there as I am typing this. My wife called her mother to let her know they were on their way, and her mother asked my wife if she could buy her a couple packs of cigarettes. This woman doesn't know my wife at all. My wife told me this woman has some big balls to ask her to buy her cigarettes. Hey I wish them luck. Two smokers together they can drive each other nuts bumming smokes and asking strangers for cigarettes. But I am so happy she has finally departed. Let her mother take care of her for a turn. :applause:

I'd have gladly bought them EACH a carton of cigs ... as a "housewarming" gift !

Consider it good riddance. Good for you for your original charity, but also good for you for setting a deadline and sticking to it. Congrats.

Hey thanks for all the congats. Believe me that after the amount of time feeding the house guest and buying smokes the feeling of it finally being resolved are great. She did do the dishes and help some but still it was a drag. We didn't mind helping at first but sometimes you have to help yourself out too. I really hope she can get her life on track and she needs to quit smoking. She and her mother from what I was told is not a small person so the weight plus smoking isn't doing them any good. :slash::slash:
Here's two Slashes, hey you got any smokes dam it!
