Studio pick up swap

OK so i have an '08 White studio with stock pick ups also i have a set of SD JB/Jazz pick up set ive been thinking about changing them out good idea? not much of a sound ( tone ) change? what do you all think of this idea

If you have a spare set of pickups throw them in. Give it a week, if you're not happy, change back, if you are, keep them!

An electronics upgrade would also be beneficial to new pickups, to bring out every nuance and add clarity.

Im thinking about trying to find the white connectors for the PCB bored in the guitar so i dont have to cut or anything just plug and un-plug

That sounds a big fidgety. Never tried it myself, though. With my harnesses, one simply solders the pickup ground to the back of the pot, and the live lead to the lug. Simple!
