I didn't read the earlier posts but I use Ernie Ball 9's top wrapped. I just bought a pair of Stringjoy 9's because I'm interested in the different B & G Gauge and Okra uses them on Kossoff.

DR Pure Blues.
9-46 on everything.
Used to run 9-42 on Fenders and 10-46 on the Gibson scale, 9-46 is a good compromise with no down-side.

I am waiting to find a brand/set that when I play the notes are in perfect pitch, with perfect intonation, phrasing, are melodic and with perfect timing and tone, where the notes just drip off the fretboard effortlessly, with no fatigue, and make listeners weep in joy...... I would pay handsomely to acquire them.

Absolutely.
I want as much nickel as I can get.
And I think there’s something to the round core instead of the hex core.

Pretty much 10-46 on everything.
The Gibson strings are great when I find them cheap.

Fender has some great ball ends for my Strats and Tele.

I have several sets of DR Pure Blues.

And some slightly heavier hybrid sets from String Joy, for when I set up a couple guitars to stay tuned to E-flat.
