Another update........ was still having issues so I sent very detailed pics to Mark Kaiser. He looked everything over, asked me a few questions and determined it is NOT the guitar. I am just beating the shit out of it. So last nights gig I grabbed a lighter gauge pick. Was a bit more conscious of my right hand and got through the first band gig break free. I never break em solo so it tells me it is the noise on stage and me just playing so hard trying to hear.
Well, there you go.

JUST ORDERED 2 lighter gauges of the brain picks literally 10 seconds before I saw this. Been using 1.14.... ordered .88 and .73 (I think... that's close anyway) I have to figure how to be able to use my in ears in the band. We do a lot of stuff on the fly... extend songs , cut songs short , I have to be able to hear the other guys. I know they make in ears with an ambient feature but that's too big of an investment to try out.

So one can only break strings if they are in front of people?

errr, huh?

Sorry, but I don't really see where this is a live performance issue.

However, I do agree that a live performance sub-forum would be a good idea.
Because breaking strings is a much bigger problem in front of people.
