I'm dead serious when i say, if it is available to you, you should look into medical marijuana. No, seriously, this can relax you and help you sleep better as well. It is proven.

But, hey if that is not in the cards, lets form a vertual band and go on YouTube and kick some azz!
I'll get on drums, kevinpaul on bass, you and the Fezz, and bling on guitars.. we can become The Cash Cows. We'll be the biggest thing since tv dinners. What'ya say? If bling has his way we'll be called kitty litter..

Wake up the worlds a mad rush to nowhere , let it go.

i had the wacky BP thing for a while years ago , then i saw the light.

Took a small dose of something for about 6 months to help

me with the adjustment , and that was that .

I'm going to try the diet/exercise routine instead of pills. I don't like to take any meds if I can help it.

I also haven't been taking enough time away from work - I'm changing that.

All I need to do is make it through another 1441 days, and I'll be gold.(Retirement):fingersx::fingersx:

1441 days is a long time to go hoping something doesn't pop in your head.

Trying to treat stage 2 hypertension with lifestyle changes (alone) doesn't exactly qualify as smart.

Get things under control with the meds, exercise, and then have it reevaluated after 3-6 months.

I've had BP medication since my early 30's but medication has kept it under control until recently. It runs in my family.

There is very little stress in my life being retired though I've learned that we carry our own stressors with us, it doesn't necessary require external sources.

A few months ago I started to get high readings, the top over 180. So far I haven't been able to get it down much despite being on 2 types of medications concurrently.

I've also had a couple of incidences of severe pain in the back of my head, lasting from 30 seconds to a couple of minutes.

Back to the doctor next week to try and sort it out as obviously things don't look good for a long future the way I'm going. I might ask to see a specialist I think.

I suspect that diabetes might be part of the reason for the change even though my control is generally very good.

I've been on the ketogenic diet since May of 2014. Lost just under 50 pounds in about 8 months with zero exercise and my BP, which had been high for a good deal of my life, is now normal with no meds.

Somehow I got lucky with BP..as I am always very low.. Last time at Dr. 86/60 but have been 82..
I am also a Diabetic which should raise that..but it hasn't..
Stress and Diabetes have awarded me kidney failure..which I am working hard to recover..
Ruptured discs in my back now and torn Ulnar has limited my guitar..and has been too painful to play even sitting for the last couple weeks. I get a couple hours sleep and then have to sit in a chair until meds take the screaming pain away..
I see another neurosurgeon next month..just don't know what my future is..

We all got something..just do what is best advice from medical professionals..

Maybe we'll live..

Maybe it's not a good idea to get your blood pressure checked right after doing something like this.

I don't like working on a ladder, let alone one of these things.

Are you an Olympic high diver?

j/k

We all need a certain amount of down time. I refuse to work OT unless forced to, which really never happens.
