Strange Looking BJA Junior..

Anyone wanna tell me if this could be fake (It looks so real..) Until you look at the Back of the Headstock...No Made in USA Stamp, and a really short Serial..

Could be fake? Anything could be fake but I sincerely doubt this one is or at least what's in the pictures.

I doubt it, looks real to me.
Even the case is the same, highly unlikely that it's a fake.

It's real. I've got mine for sale on ebay as well and my serial is the same, a Custom Shop-type serial. Want to buy a black one???

I gave my reasons.

It checked out with Gibson. It uses a 60s styled Serial, also without the Made in USA stamp.

well, those tuners look a little under par for gibson also.. i haven't dealt with LPJ's a whole lot. but I've never seen plastic tuners that don't say gibson on them, on a real gibson..

The BJA Signature Series was a collossal failure.

I remember my GC was unloading them for $600-$700!

$799 is too much IMO!

I like mine. Looks just like that one. The pickup is pretty noisy and the tuners suck. Mine is stamped with Made in The USA.

The finish is great and the neck is perfect for me.

What made it a collossal failure? They still offer it after several other model cuts. Other than the signiture on the back of the neck, what don't you like about it?

The VOS model is around $2400.00. The new LP Jr. seems a bit on the cheaper side especially with the finish. The BJA is pretty nice all around, especially if you can get one for $800.00.

I had a LP classic 06 and the tuners sucked on that guitar as well. I have a great J-45 06. Nasty tuners. Gibson is not above putting crap on any of their guitars. They are not like Rickenbacker or anything. I do like my LP Jr.
