OK, the guitar retails for $200, new. It is used. Used ones, in excellent condition, go for $150 - $170 or so. This one has spray paint on the back. How did spray paint get on it? How much spray paint is on it? Spray paint particles go everywhere, so, how much is on the sides and front? In my book, that is used and not in good condition. So, I'm going to say worth maybe $100. Well, what's he going to consider a lowball?

The seller/owner is so convinced that it is an easy fix, he doesn't show a picture of it or even a decent picture of the guitar, at all.

I don't know I've spent almost a week speaking to a guy by email who I met via gum tree, who is selling a pedal board, and he actually seems like a normal human being, offered to bring it round to my place for me to inspect with no pressure to buy because he lives in a hard to find address.

I'm going round to his place to look at it purely in case I don't buy it, it will feel less awkward especially if it costs him time and petrol just for me to have a look at it and I don't buy it, and he also lives in a part of the country with lots of historical and interesting things to do. This is what I'm going to look at and might buy tomorrow:

If it wasn't for his choice in power supplies, I could be persuaded to believe that this was a normal person, but the power supply he uses makes me think that the lift might not quite reach the top floor.
