Speaker comparison - clip included (Eminence / V30 / Greenback) - which one sounds best with my 69 JMP?

I made a comparison with the speakers I have right now. The Greenbacks are in my '74 cab, these are '90s models. The V30 is a newer one but broken in heavily. The Eminence Cannabis Rex is an old favorite when I want to get rid of the ear-piercing highs (it's a hemp cone speaker).

I play various riffs on different pickup positions with the speakers in the following order: C.Rex / V30 / Greenback head-to-head. The amp is my 1969 Marshall JMP 50 and the volume is high like a mf'er.

In a perfect world I would want a speaker that sounds like the C.Rex on the bridge pickup and the Greenback on the middle & neck pickup. That would be killer.

Some Pulsonic cone G12Ms might give you want you want. They are plenty bright, open and clear, but not the sharp brittle kind of treble you get with the new ones with the scratchy sort of pick attack.

The G12M EVH might be a little closed to the Pulsonic cone sweet easy treble on top than the standard G12M greenback. I have some, but have yet to do a comparison.

watched through the 1st 3 repeats and thought the 2nd version (v30?) sounded lousy. the last version, the greenbacks (?) sounded terrific. bummer as I have v30's in both of my cabs, ha!

Great riffs and playing. I liked them all but the V30 was the least favourite when on the bridge pickup.

I find V30's to be a bit buzzy with most of my Marshalls. They worked well with my Phaez amps though.

@the passenger labeling the vid might make it easier to follow.

Ever try one of those G12Cs? My buddy has a cab that we record with regularly. They are sort of in-between a Greenback and a V30, but more like the Greenback. Maybe 65/35. …which I guess is sort of like a Blackback, also.

I have not tried G12C's or Blackbacks. Two of the G12M's I got from you I mixed with two G12T-75's and they sound incredible with my JCM900 SL-X... I was just playing them today. The other two G12M's are mixed with a pair of G12H-30 Anni's.
