Got in a minor car accident last week which resulted in my car having to go to the body shop for a week. I've always liked the color of my car, so I figured I'd go out on a limb and ask them if they'd mix up a little extra paint for ol' Sully.

They did! Woo hoo! It looked so sweet, I had to try it!

So.....if you have to take your car to the body shop, and you shoot urethane, ask for some extra; they'll probably give you some!

I've got a stack of bodies in the shop, so I'm sure something will be metallic blue in the next few weeks. Now that I think of it, I've got a Junior style that'd look smashing in that color with a checkerboard pickguard.

....Looks like I'll add it to the workload!

Ah, sounds like the beginning of a great relationship. Getting in good with a body shop has many perks. Not only do they know all the tow truck drivers (ya never know...), have all the refinishing supplies you'll ever need, but they also have the perfect environment to paint white guitars, at least 10 at a time or any color imaginable if they mix their own. I bet they have leftover paint after they finish your car, they may also let you have that as well.

Please post pics of whatever you decide to use it on.

I grew up a White Sox fan (being from Chicago and all), but started following the Carmines in the late 90s, and was thrilled to see them finally win it all a few times. That said, once everyone I cheered for left, and Bobby V came on board, I was kinda done.
