Felt like writing a little something, so here it is. Inspiration is from working at Walmart and seeing the effect such a shitty job can have on people. Enjoy! It is yet untitled.

She'd wake up each morning,
And try to start the day
With a cup of joe, and an ibupro
To take the overhang away
From a night spent lonely, In an apartment only
60 Miles from where life had stayed
But now it's off to work,
a corporate grocery clerk,
Oh "How did it end up this way?"

Coffee in one hand, pain in the other
This is now her life, waking for Big Brother
Working her soul off, 10 hours then another
It's a lonely life, spent in the corporate weather

He'd wake up each morning
And try to start the day
With a coffee, one smoke, **** it go for broke!
He'd smoke the rest along the way
To where he'd left his spirit, oh can't you hear it?
There's a cubicle! a PC! Hooray!
The one he'd gotten used to,
But who's trying to fool who?
He'd end his life, just to get away

Coffee in one hand, pain in the other
This is now his life, waking for Big Brother
Working his soul off, 10 hours then another
It's a lonely life, spent in the corporate weather

Also, while my avatar and this poem may make me look like a communist I am not.
