A while back on another forum Someone asked what ticket stubs from shows you had been to do you still have hanging around.
Here are a few of the ones I still have:

Aren't the prices funny?

This one is my prized ticket! Fully intact KISS @ the New Haven Colosseum
(Now gone) I wanted to see if I could just walk in without being stopped and I did!!

That's great. I have a shoebox of tickets. From concerts to sports to movies. My wife thinks I'm crazy.

My God; look at those ticket prices. I still have some around somewhere; not quite as old as yours though. I'll try to round them up.

Yeah, $7.50 to see KISS in their hey day!
Altho back then it wasnt easy for a 15 year old to get $7.50:laugh2:

I remember when tickets crossed the $10 barrier - we were outraged! I saw the Cars at the Providence Civic Center for $2.50.

Was that BOC ticket the Agents of Fortune tour? I saw that in the same show with Rush "Farewell to Kings" in Providence. Maybe that was '78.

In a burst of idocy I threw away a bunch of stubs in about '92

No I know that it was after that. I know GODZILLA was one of the encore songs (Of course) So it was past that album. Richie Blackmores Rainbow opened for them and I felt (IMHO) that he killed them! Did the whole smashing routine etc. I had front row for that one too! BOC just seemed to be going thru the motions, not sure if it was an off night for them at that point.

As I remember, Rainbow in '78 or '79 was the loudest thing I ever experienced. We were right down in front.

The guy that was my brother's lead singer got most of the strat carcass after the Providence show. We were disppointed to find out it was cheap copy when he tried to plunder the parts

Like your tickets. Loves me some Macca.:thumb:

Thanks, Macca puts on a pretty damn good show, at coachella i missed his encore because the group i was with had to leave early so we could make it back to LA from palm springs before we had work in the morning. The Hollywood Bowl show i missed the beginning becuase i was picking up my date in west hollywood (a girl-- i just realized the possible innuendo for west hollywood) and we spent 45 minutes in traffic up Highland avenue, the Bowl was only maybe two or three miles from the apartment, ironically.

But in San Fran i saw the whole show, i thought i was doomed to never see a full McCartney concert

Seeing the Beatles is beyond expression, your one of really only a handful of people whose seen them play live as a unit.

Saw them live on September 18, 1964 in Dallas - I was 9 years old. I heard them play this set list: (well, kind of heard them - mostly girls screaming)

1. Twist and Shout (The Isley Brothers cover)
2. You Can't Do That
3. All My Loving
4. She Loves You
5. Things We Said Today
6. Roll Over Beethoven (Chuck Berry cover)
7. Can't Buy Me Love
8. If I Fell
9. I Want to Hold Your Hand
10. Boys (The Shirelles cover)
11. A Hard Day's Night
12. Long Tall Sally (Little Richard cover)

I think my favorite song was Can't Buy Me Love. I still get chills from the memories of this event which has profoundly affected me throughout my entire lifetime. :dude:

Such a good set list-- I've seen some footage of Beatle Concerts, and what you can hear through the girls is pretty astonishing-- Especially how tight and in tune the vocals are with no monitors-- I can't even imagine that. I love Can't Buy Me Love-- Macca did it at the encore of coachella-- i heard it-- but from the parking lot, does that still count? :laugh2:

And you got to see John play-- That is really special. It sounds like a hell of an experience, and while i didn't see the beatles per se-- the McCartney concert two years ago this week gave also left me with a profound affect that turned music from a hobby into a life style for me. Those four lads from liverpool really caught lightening in a bottle.
