SOLD: 2014 Gibson Custom Shop Benchmark Chambered 1958 Les Paul CR8

For your consideration is my very gently used 2014 Gibson Custom Shop Figured and Chambered R8 (CR8). This guitar was produced as a limited run for 2014 and was available only from four Benchmark dealers in the USA. The figured tops were hand selected for the run by the Benchmark dealers and this one has a great top. This guitar is finished in Gloss Lemon Burst color with nickel hardware. It has a killer the neck profile that measures 0.900” at the first fret and 0.956” at the twelfth fret. It is very comfortable with small shoulders and a slight V shape. Pickup output measures 7.56k at the neck PUP and 8.34k at the bridge PUP. The body is chambered and the guitar weighs in at an ultra comfortable 7lb 7.6oz It has a super dark fingerboard and all the current historic specs.

The guitar is 100% stock with no modifications. I bought the guitar new from a Gibson Benchmark dealer and I have used this guitar exclusively in my smoke free, pet free, humidity controlled home studio. It has only left my home to visit my luthier for a setup. The guitar is in MINT condition with no damage or issues. Includes original hardshell case with key, COA, anniversary back plate, hang tags, and warranty card. The case still has the dealer’s inventory tape on its headstock end.


Guitar will ship in its original factory Gibson shipping box well packed inside and out with factory inserts to stabilize the guitar in transit.
