So, I picked this up a little while ago even though I really wasn’t in the market, but I couldn’t pass it up at the time. It’s a ‘96 Standard in tobacco burst, and its damn near like new. A total case queen. I mean, maybe there’s a swirly from polishing or something, but there’s zero play wear. It could easily be hanging as new at your local shop. Twenty four years old and could pass for new. I polished the frets, conditioned the fretboard and put a set of 9s on it, played it for 20 minutes and that’s about it. I don’t think you could find a cleaner one. Has the tan case, and the only issue there is a busted combo lock that was pried open. Weighs in at 8.8 lbs. I don’t know the specs on this particular year but it’s a nice weight compared to my traditional. The neck is slimmer for sure, it’s not a fat 50s neck. Slim taper? Not sure, but feels like a nice medium shape to me. All original, and did I happen to mention it’s clean as can be? Yeah, I think I mentioned that.
I got this from the original owner, and even gave me a copy of the original sales receipt. It’s included. So, if you happen to like this particular year, I think you’d be quite happy with this. Looking for $1900 plus shipping. Hit me up with any questions and thanks for looking!

That iceman in the background is what caught my eye.
