its all about football where i live, we all know the risk but love it too much not to play it. but the same thing is happening over here too, pansies that knew the risk when they started playing are crying about effects of injuries that they hid from doctors when they had them. society is going strait down the crapper.

Not to totally crap on your point or anything, but my parents forced me to play soccer. I never enjoyed it but had to play every year when I was a kid. I think that's why I sort of scoff at Brits who love it. I still sort of consider it a crappy sport that parents force their kids to play. I remember several other kids that hated it too. FFS, it's soccer!

Not funny. Has happened. Check out the story of the 23 year-old Cameroon international player who collapsed and died on the pitch.

Check this vid out from a Premiership game, Spurs v. Bolton. A heart surgeon who was in the crowd ran onto the pitch and administered CPR and directed the physios as to what to do. Fabrice Muamba (of the away team, Bolton) survived after his heart stopped for 78 minutes.

I don't think anyone is making light of heart attacks. Sometimes a heart attack comes with your number and sometimes it doesn't. God bless that yours didn't; my father's did.
