Lets face it, I was excited for the 2010 winter olympics, but ended up having epic dissapointment with the broadcasting and found the 24/7 broadcasting of curling to be annoying (they cut off the end of the closing ceremonies to promote their own show, and basically said "oh well, sucks for you!" when people complained)
On the other hand, I really enjoyed the 2008 and (2004?) summer olympic games.
I went camping for a few days in 2008 during the games, but still enjoyed all of the events, from seeing the swimming events with Michael Phelps to the running events with Usain Bolt.
I am probably going to miss a few days of the games again this year, but I am still excited to see them. Is anybody else here really excited to see them?
Edit: Oh yes, it looks like the flame has already been lit too and will be making its way to the games in a few days.
