R9- absolutely agree, I am a fool I buy them in groups, I just picked up two used Gibsons this week. I won't buy a new one anymore, especially since people are selling off gear at rock bottom prices.

I was all set to pick up a vintage 1960 burst last month, but decided to pay off the house instead. So my consolation prize to myself is these two instead of an R9 or R0.

Anyone who buys a second Les Paul is a fool and anyone who forks out the money for an R9 is a fool, as well.

Outside of forums it certainly feels this way :laugh2:

I know a bunch of guitar players - most in their '30s and '40s and some older - and only 2 of them even have LPs - 1 has a recent Standard and the other has a '73 Custom.

I don't know anybody that owns a Historic or 'vintage' '50s LP.
