Couldn’t put it down.

Took it home, oiled the board (it needed it bad), slapped on some 11’s, tuned it to D Standard and BOOM.

I think the 2020 stock P90s got less hum than the older ones, it’s pretty quiet even with some heavy gain.

Looks like Gibson is using steel studs with USA guitars now.

Ended up switching gears and took a chance with Wolfetone Timber Wolf mounted in a Dogear cover.

Swapped out the steel studs for a set of Tone Pro locking.

Absolute tone change to the heavy.

Still waiting on the Wolfetone Dogear Timbre Wolf.
