I am the opposite of a guitar snob. I love cheap guitars. What you are talking about is why. When you find a good one, you get to think "People (including me recently lol) pay big bucks for Les Pauls, custom shop Strats, and I got this 'crappy' guitar that I like just as much."

Schecter's are the real deal. My local guitar shop had a sweet S-1 in white with the smoothest huge frets, and I would stop by just to play that guitar. I was sad when it sold. Shoulda bought it...
