...But I doubt it'll quite work, but I've been dying for a guitar like this/these and won't rest until I get something close enough.
Huge Skid Row fan, and finding a guitar like one of their Kramer/Spectors from back in the day is IMPOSSIBLE.
They were both similar to Les Paul body shapes, both single cut and double cut versions, but aren't quite the same, and to find one with no neck or a single coil in the neck and a hum in the bridge, with a floyd rose...IS IMPOSSIBLE!
The guy who made them was apparently Chris Hofscheider or something, but I don't know if you can get anything from him/Spector anymore like these. I've also seen some of the Blackhawk shapes with "nYs" on the headstock instead of Spector. Anyhow...
My go to source would have been Warmoth, but they don't do Gibson bodies anymore, though in an email they said they were working on new body shapes, but I doubt they'll be close enough, who knows.
I saw these cheap Epi LP Jrs -http://www.musiciansfriend.com/guitars/epiphone-les-paul-junior-special-electric-guitar and though that with enough mods, I could get something close to Dave Sabo's black LP shaped Spector, but I don't have the equipment nor skill to do what I want (Add a floyd rose, change the pickup, maybe a different neck or shaving it down)
What would be the best route to go about getting a guitar like these!?
Some pics. Also, anyone have ANY idea of what kind of Les Paul shaped guitar Dave has now/more recently? It was originally all purple/pink crackle finish, though he covered the top, and that is not a Spector headstock.

Yes, format does matter.

I skimmed it and am wondering if you could get close with something from Carvin?
