Congrats on the new job AND the decision to buy a new watch!
I love watches. All the ones you posted pics of look great, the Mido looks most modern, but they're all very nice.
I was a long-time fan of analog watches until recently. My problem with them is that their functionality is limited. More importantly, I have a collection of watches and some don't see the light of day for months, and I get tired of pulling one out and finding the battery is dead or the whole thing needs to be reset and I have to fish around for the manual. With analog watches you usually have to reset the last day of the month, and those tiny circular dials drive me nuts. Watches eventually get scratched; it's inevitable if you're going to wear one on a regular basis. It's a real heartbreaker when that metal seat belt clip snaps back and permanently dents your $800 timepiece. So you might want to consider something more replaceable. Also, no backlight - glow in the dark is ancient, and the watches with those tiny "light tubes" seem gimmicky and are often found on cheaper watches.
I recently bought 4 or 5 Casio Pro Trek's. There are a lot of style and color options. They are solar-powered and will hold a charge in the dark for over a year, and once set never need resetting. They have a great backlight, and receive the Atomic time signal nightly, which includes daylight savings time. Other features are numerous, and include:
Solar powered
Battery meter
Atomic timekeeping
Auto-backlight - at the flick of the wrist, and only in low lighting (works perfectly)
Day/Month/Day of Month (e.g.; Wed, 3-26)
Altimeter (bar graph)
Barometer (bar graph with 24 hr. audio/visual weather alert mode for approaching bad weather)
Compass
Thermometer
Sunrise/Sunset
Stopwatch
Countdown Timer
World Time
5 daily alarms (one of which has a Snooze function)
They're built to last, are cost-effective to replace if necessary, and once set they require very little adjustment in the future if any at all. Before you unload heavy cash on that prestigious analog watch (great watches that they are) consider some of Casio's latest offerings, such as the:

Also consider the [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Casio-PRG-270-1-Protrek-Multifunction-Digital/dp/B00ENCRBO4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1458209970&sr=8-1&keywords=prg-270"]PRG-270[/ame] (solar, but no atomic timekeeping)
And the [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Casio-PRG-300-1A2CR-Triple-Sensor-Tough-Digital/dp/B010Q44398/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1458208217&sr=8-7&keywords=PRW-3000"]PRG-300[/ame] (solar, but no atomic timekeeping)
Again, there are many styles and colors, denoted by the suffixes at the end of the model numbers. A few last considerations are: I found "smart watches" to be a cumbersome hassle and a waste of a lot of money. That includes Apple, Android and GPS watches. They're often buggy, require menu navigation and are so "customizable" that I get tired of setting all the options up and remembering everything. Sure, texts, emails and calls are cool. You can lay music, you can even watch movies on one I had. But in the end they're more hassle than they're worth. An analog watch is a "time-tested" piece of machinery, but they have limited functionality and it's a real disappointment when they get scratched. I find the Casio Pro Trek's to be the perfect match between modern looks, technology, usefulness and cost. Note: if you do consider Casio, I do not recommend the Pathfinder serious, as they have outdated components. Choose a ProTrek model, or the G-Shock Rangeman.
Good luck, and enjoy whichever you choose!
