 A Spitfire would knock that thing out of the sky in seconds.

Not so. Go read up on your Battle of Britain. 109s were knocked down in a far greater ratio than 110s, and the 109s had a 'free-hunting' role, unlike the 110s, which were tied to close escort to slow bombers.

Stop being so crude you silly old sod. One look at you in that area and they'd think they were looking at the Parsons nose on a small turkey.

Released from the confines of his cage and his carer, Philis reverts to his 'hog the thread' antics again.

It would be good if once in a while you actually wrote something of value... :dude:

Probably simply because the Hurricanes were sorting out the bombers while the Spits took on the 109 free hunters.

That was the intention, but it hardly ever worked out like that. And Hurricanes were in the majority during the Battle of Britain.

It's not a question of the thread starter, but who is the 'thread hogger'.

And stop nicking my phrases, you mentally-bankrupt twat!!! :dude:

Anyway, I've just been listening to a few songs on Youtube (not Xmas carols). I'll post one or two here for you to listen to. Good shit it is. You'll know them, Philis.

Have had a shit cold all night. Sweating, coughing, sneezing and spluttering.T
It rained in Bridport last night, but because we are so high where I live, ( 600ft above sea level ) the drizzle settled as white sheets of ice, so I have just managed to get my wife under way and pointing her car in the right direction as it's thawing now and our hill is the only place for miles around that has a white frosting.
