Been too long since I unstacked all those crates of compact discs.
Gotta get ‘em organized.

And I have dozens that need to be ripped to my hard drive.

Let’s see here…

OOH!!!
Pat Travers!

Slide “Crash And Burn” into the slot and click PLAY.

Oh, yes….

Snortin’ whiskey, drinkin’ cocaine…

But for 40 years, I can’t help but thinking that he’s doing it wrong.

Anyone else?

I like PT. When I was a young guy I got to hang out (sort of) and talk to him for a couple gigs he had in the area. Interesting two nights. Anyway...

A cple years later my local cover band got to open for him. 1989?

Go For What You Know is such a killer album.

If anybody ever wants to know what a real honest to god dimed plexi sounds like live, without the fucking slider munkee EQing the balls out of the gits, Go For What You Know id the record to tell them to listen to. Those guitars sounds nasty AF, just like they are supposed to.

Apparently SRV used to mix his coke with his cocktail that he had with him on stage so that he could always be lit up. It eventually started eating a hole in his stomach.

Travers could definitely play. Always liked his band. But older rockers had drug problems......news to me.......#haha

Putting it Stiaght was a great LP. Before Thall and Aldridge...and then it got even better! Pat does a killer version of Green Eyed Lady btw!
