The Stewmac plunge base - https://www.stewmac.com/luthier-tools-and-supplies/tools-by-job/tools-for-binding/precision-router-base/stewmac-plunge-router-base.html

The Lee Valley - https://www.leevalley.com/en-us/shop/tools/power-tool-accessories/router-accessories/73720-veritas-plunge-base-for-rotary-tools?item=05J6507

The SM comes with a light, but no circle cutting or edge guide. The LV includes circle and edge guides, but you would need to rig a light. Both appear well made....anyone tried both? Thoughts?

There's a third choice, brought to my attention by @Roxy13 .

I have the SM version myself. It does work well, the users tip here is to work it slow. you will break bits if you rush it.

A light on the device does help , but make certain the light isn't casting a shadow .

Nice. Though it lacks the plunge feature. I've seen several reviews where people upgraded from the base SM version to the plunge version and rave about the difference. But hard to argue with the price!
